Rooted In Inc.
This is a new nonprofit established in June 2023. Our mission is to strengthen the health of the Greater Green Bay community through partnerships and seed to table programs that create and maintain a sustainable local food system.
Our Values:
Community
We take action by forming strategic partnerships that combine resources, knowledge, and expertise to develop our regional food system while providing a sense of belonging within a cohesive group of changemakers.
Local Food Access
We believe local food access is essential for communities to thrive, ensuring that everyone has access to fresh and healthy food options that improve community health and reduce environmental impact.
Education
We provide knowledge and skills that ensure a sustainable future, as education is the most powerful tool for personal and social development.
Equality
We treat everyone with respect, regardless of gender, race, religion, age, sexuality or political view, by valuing diversity and inclusivity that fosters equal opportunities for all.

Shining the Spotlight on Rooted In’s Chef’s Table at the Market Program
The Chef’s Table at the Market program kicks off this fall with locally crafted recipes on the Rooted In Inc. website for our community to use to shop at farmers’ markets.
The Chef’s Table will be at the farmers’ markets this winter with a rotating lineup of chefs cooking up recipes that inspire our community to cook with local ingredients, strengthening the relationship between producer and consumer.
Chef’s Table Mission:
To improve access to healthy food, promote health and well-being through food education, remove barriers to cooking with local products, promote and expand our local sustainable food system through partnerships, and increase SNAP participation at farmers markets.
