Tax Preparation Assistance Programs

Wisconsin residents can take advantage of two programs designed to provide tax assistance for low-income seniors and individuals with a disability. The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program is a cooperative between the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the State of Wisconsin Department of Revenue (DOR). The Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) program is sponsored by the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) foundation.
