Hospice and palliative care provide compassionate support to patients facing the physical, psychological, social, or spiritual challenges of life-threatening illness, and their caregivers. In addition
to curative treatment, healthcare teams offer palliative or hospice care to alleviate suffering and
improve quality of life for those with terminal conditions. This holistic approach aims to address
the patient’s total well-being during a difficult time, as well as their caregivers.
