Ask ADRC Specialists: Transportation

by | Apr 25, 2024 | Blog

Question: I help my parents from time to time, increasingly over the past few months. They seemed to be doing okay, but over the last year or so, my siblings and I have noticed some significant changes and declines in their physical abilities. In particular, my father’s driving has been an issue. I’m looking for alternative transportation options for him. My mother is physically not able to drive any longer and has been dependent on my father for getting around. What options are out there for them besides calling me to take them?
